Attenborough's Pitcher Plant

One of the largest carnivorous pitcher plants, capable of trapping rats. Named after Sir David Attenborough. Discovered in 2007.

This pitcher plant is large enough to trap and digest rats — it was discovered only in 2007 on a single mountain peak in the Philippines!
